Golden Rush
Laurel Creek Falls, cascades down layers of rock adorned with beautiful yellow autumn leaves. This is a tributary creek flowing into the West Virginia’s Gauley River. The drop is at least 25’ high, and with wet weather, is quite impressive. The falls is located alongside Route 16, just south of where it crosses the New River. Laurel Creek, is a unincorporated community and coal town in Fayette County, West Virginia.
